He’s a talented bassist, songwriter, and vocalist best known as a founding member of the popular Filipino funk band IV of Spades. The group, fronted by his dynamic presence, quickly rose to fame thanks to their retro-inspired sound and striking visual style—drawing heavy influence from 70s and 80s American funk and soul acts. His role in shaping the band’s identity has been pivotal, and fans often highlight his stage charisma and musical depth. Before joining IV of Spades, he was personally recruited by Allan Silonga, the band’s manager and father of guitarist Blaster Silonga, which marked the beginning of his journey into the spotlight. Born and raised in the Philippines, he’s stayed deeply connected to his roots while building a name in the local music scene. Offstage, he’s been in a long-term relationship with singer Shanne Dandan, and the two have even collaborated musically, blending their talents in heartfelt projects. He took home the win in the bass category of Music Hero, a popular segment on the long-running show Eat Bulaga, showcasing his talent and dedication to music. Following that big break, he went on to release his debut solo album titled Homework Machine in August 2020. He really made a name for himself during that time, proving that his passion for music wasn’t just a phase. He continued building momentum, and fans couldn’t get enough of his unique sound.
