As one of the main hosts on Money Pit, Jobe brings fans a behind-the-scenes, hands-on perspective into the world of car restoration and performance upgrades. With his no-nonsense attitude and deep mechanical know-how, Jobe has become a trusted and relatable figure in the automotive space—part mechanic, part on-screen guide. He’s built a solid online presence too, boasting over 310,000 followers on Instagram, where he shares glimpses of builds, personal projects, and life off-camera.
Before all the spotlight, Jobe was just another guy working day jobs back in Ohio. A longtime resident of the Buckeye State, he once managed both a Marco’s Pizza and the Pucker Sports Bar & Grill in North Canton. Things started shifting gears in 2013 when he joined ECS Tuning in Wadsworth, Ohio—a move that eventually paved the way for his media career.
The first season of Money Pit, filmed in Los Angeles, premiered in February 2020 and quickly gained traction among car enthusiasts. Even after Recurrent Ventures acquired Donut Media in November 2021, the core team stayed intact, maintaining the brand’s authentic vibe. Jobe, alongside fellow hosts Nolan Sykes and Jeremiah Burton, continued in their roles, keeping the content fresh and engaging. Under the leadership of Donut co-founder and CEO Matthew Levin—who now also serves as SVP of Video for Recurrent—and with creative direction from CCO Jesse Wood and editor-in-chief James Pumprey, the show has held strong. Through it all, Jobe remains a central voice, connecting with viewers through honest storytelling and real-world expertise.
He earned an Associate of Science degree in Automotive Technology from Stark State College, which really helped him build a strong foundation in the field. His time at Stark State College was crucial in shaping his technical skills and career path. With that degree from Stark State College, he was able to pursue hands-on opportunities and grow professionally.
