He’s best known as a co-founder of the alternative rock band Paramore, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the band’s early sound. Before rising to fame with Paramore, he was deeply inspired by artists like Radiohead, The National, Sigur Rós, Yann Tiersen, and múm—musical influences that subtly colored his creative direction. He also contributed to other projects such as Novel American and later joined Half Noise, further expanding his artistic footprint. Growing up as the middle child among five siblings, he shared a close bond with his brother Josh. In fact, both he and Josh made the joint decision to leave Paramore in December of 2010, marking a major turning point in their careers. Throughout it all, his journey with Paramore remains a central chapter in his story.
He was a key part of Paramore during their early years, recording three studio albums with the band: All We Know Is Falling, Riot!, and Brand New Eyes.
