Riele West Downs was born in Toronto, Canada, on July 8, 2001, and from an early age, she showed a strong interest in acting. Remarkably, she made her debut in the film industry at just three years old, appearing in the comedy My Baby’s Daddy (2004). As she grew up, Riele West Downs continued to build her career with a number of appearances in both film and television. During her childhood, she was frequently seen on screen in movies such as Four Brothers (2005) and Confessions of a Porn Addict (2008), as well as TV series like ReGenesis (The Movie Network/Movie Central 2004–08) and Rookie Blue (Global/ABC 2010–15), all before she turned 10.
Once she reached her teenage years, Riele West Downs began to take on more substantial and memorable roles. In 2013, she played the young daughter of Morris Chestnut and Monica Calhoun’s characters in the dramedy The Best Man Holiday. The following year marked a major milestone in her career when she joined the cast of the superhero-themed family show Henry Danger (Nickelodeon 2014–present), portraying Charlotte, the best friend of the show’s young superhero protagonist.
Riele Downs has been part of several movies, but one of the standout performances came in The Best Man Holiday (2013), which remains her highest-rated film to date. On the flip side, A Breed Apart (2025) has received the least favorable reviews, marking it as her lowest-rated project so far. While Riele Downs continues to take on diverse roles, these two films represent the opposite ends of her career in terms of critical reception.
