The British musician, whose name has become increasingly familiar in indie music circles, first captured widespread attention in 2021 with the breakout success of Wet Leg’s debut single “Chaise Longue.” That track quickly gained momentum, amassing millions of streams on Spotify and putting her—and the band—on the map. The following year, she helped lead the release of Wet Leg’s self-titled debut album, a project that further solidified her place in the modern rock scene. As one of the two founding members and chief songwriters of the band, she shares creative leadership with her best friend, crafting music that blends wit, energy, and raw talent.

Before all the fame and festival headlines, she was already making music under the solo moniker Rhain. Her journey with Hester Chambers, her bandmate and longtime friend, began back at the Isle of Wight College, where their bond started to form. Coming from the Isle of Wight, England, she’s deeply rooted in the island’s creative community, which has subtly influenced her artistic direction.
