Before rising to prominence, his life took a transformative turn at the age of 16 when he attended a sermon at a church in Decatur, Georgia, and embraced Christianity. Along the way, he married fellow spoken word artist Jackie Hill-Perry, and together they’ve built a beautiful life, including raising their daughter, Eden.
