Standing at an impressive height, this bodybuilder, actor, and model has made a name for himself not only in the fitness world but also in the entertainment industry. In 2021, he earned a place in the record books as the tallest professional bodybuilder, surpassing the previous titleholder, Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson—famously known as “The Mountain”—by a full five inches. His towering frame and commanding presence have also led him to appear in major films such as The King’s Man and Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny, further expanding his public profile.
Before stepping into the spotlight, he built a successful business career. In 2013, he founded Muscle Meat, an online sports nutrition supermarket that quickly gained traction among fitness enthusiasts. He also launched Tall Origin, a fashion brand catering specifically to tall men, and Dutch Giant Nutrition, a supplement store that aligns with his health-focused lifestyle.
Coming from a close-knit family, he is the son of Reiner Richters and Marlou Buisman. He also shares a strong family bond with his brother, Rein Richters, and his sister-in-law, Yvette Richters. Together, they continue to support each other through his many endeavors.
He made a striking appearance on the November 2018 cover of Men’s Health magazine’s Netherlands edition, drawing significant attention. He, of course, continued to gain momentum around that time, becoming not just a cover star but also the central figure in a compelling documentary produced by the same publication. He was undoubtedly the focus of much conversation, as the documentary delved deeper into his journey and achievements. He remained in the spotlight, with his story resonating across audiences thanks to the powerful storytelling from Men’s Health.
