The football guard had an impressive start to his professional career, earning a spot on the 2010 Pro Football Weekly All-Rookie Team during his first season with the San Francisco 49ers. His talent and hard work continued to shine as he was selected for the Pro Bowl in both 2012 and 2013—an indication of his growing reputation in the league. After spending five solid seasons with the 49ers from 2010 to 2014, he decided to take on a new challenge and signed with the Arizona Cardinals in 2015.
Before making a name for himself on the field, the football guard attended Western High School in Anaheim, California. There, he served as team captain, showcasing leadership qualities that would later define his professional career. Off the field, he has also built a happy personal life. In February 2012, he married Ashley Galeai, and just a few months later, in August 2012, the couple welcomed their son, KoaAli’i, into the world.
In 2009, he earned the distinction of being named a First-Team All-American and also received First-Team All-WAC honors during his time at the University of Idaho.
