Well known to Nickelodeon fans as Schwoz from Henry Danger, he has built a solid career as both an actor and acting coach. In addition to his role on the popular show, he has appeared in other notable television series such as Talking Friends and Grossology. His filmography also includes performances in It Was You Charlie and Generation Wolf, showcasing his versatility in different genres.
Before he became widely recognized, Schwoz got his start by winning a Young Playwright’s Contest at the age of 12. This early achievement came after he was inspired by the comedic talents on The Carol Burnett Show, which sparked his passion for both acting and writing. His first professional voice-over gig was for the animated series Pippi Longstocking, marking the beginning of his journey into voice acting.
He relocated with his family to Richmond, British Columbia, Canada when he was just 10 years old. Later on, after completing college, he made the move to Toronto to further pursue his dream of becoming a professional actor, dedicating himself to the craft through formal training and study.
He had minor roles in a couple of films, including InAPPropriate Comedy and the Academy Award-winning Whiplash. He didn’t have major screen time, but his appearances added to the overall mix of both movies. He was part of the ensemble cast in InAPPropriate Comedy, which leaned more into edgy humor, and then showed up briefly in Whiplash, the critically acclaimed film that went on to win several awards. Though his parts were small, he contributed to projects that made an impact—especially Whiplash, which became a standout success. He may not have been front and center, but being involved in such notable films is still a solid point in any actor’s career.
