Best known for his memorable portrayal of the villainous Captain Harrison Love in the 1998 film The Mask of Zorro, which earned him a Blockbuster Entertainment Award nomination, Letscher has built a diverse and impressive acting career. He gained further recognition for his roles as series regulars on popular television shows, playing Tom Bradshaw in The Carrie Diaries, which aired on The CW, and Rob Paley in CBS’s Almost Perfect.
Before rising to fame, Letscher made appearances in several notable TV series early in his career, including Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman, Silk Stalkings, and Ellen. On a personal note, he shares two children with his wife, Jennifer. Hailing from Grosse Pointe, Michigan, Letscher grew up alongside his brother, actor Brian Letscher, in a family that would both support and inspire his journey into the entertainment industry.
Known not only as a dramatist but also as an actor, he saw his farcical play Sea of Fools brought to life by Michigan’s Purple Rose Theatre Company.
