He is an American football coach who made his debut as an NFL head coach with the Green Bay Packers in 2019. Before taking on that role, he served as the offensive coordinator for both the Los Angeles Rams and the Tennessee Titans. Earlier in his coaching career, he worked as the quarterbacks coach for the Washington Redskins and the Atlanta Falcons.
Before he became well known in the coaching world, he played college football, starting out as a wide receiver at Western Michigan University from 1998 to 1999. He then transitioned to playing quarterback at Saginaw Valley State University, where he remained from 2000 to 2002.
In his personal life, he is married to his wife, Breanne, and together they have two sons named Luke and Ty.
He played in the National Indoor Football League, joining the Omaha Beef back in 2003 before moving on to the Billings Outlaws the following year. He really made a name for himself during that time, showing consistent performance across both teams. He continued building his reputation throughout the 2004 season with the Outlaws, proving he could adapt and contribute at a high level. He definitely left a mark in the league during those early years.
