Kris Nelson had a diverse and enduring career in entertainment, taking on a wide range of roles across film and television. Early on, Kris Nelson made her mark with appearances in notable projects, including the TV movie The Over-the-Hill Gang, which aired on ABC back in 1969. As her career began to take shape, Kris Nelson landed a role in the CBS television special Sam, which ran from 1976 to 1977. Even before that, she was active in the industry, appearing on the popular police drama Adam-12, which aired on NBC between 1968 and 1975—marking one of her first forays into television.

Moving into the 1980s, Kris Nelson stayed busy, building an impressive list of credits. She appeared in Liar’s Moon (1982), starring alongside Matt Dillon, and also played a part in The Beach Girls the same year, a film featuring Debra Blee. Her work continued with roles in Trouble in Mind (1985) and the beloved sports drama Hoosiers (1986), where she shared screen time with Gene Hackman—a film that went on to become a classic.

In more recent years, Kris Nelson kept her presence felt on screen with a role in the FX series Saint George, which ran from 2013 to 2014.
