In addition to her acting career, she also co-directed a short film titled Professor Majiga alongside Kody Jackson. Before she found fame, she began her journey in the entertainment world at the young age of six when she first started singing. Hailing from Vineland, New Jersey, she was raised by her mother, Myriah Jackson, who has been a significant influence in her life.
She started working with her vocal coach, Sal Dupree, back in 2007. Sal, who she met while they were both part of the Standing Ovation cast, helped her begin her journey in vocal training. It was during this time that she started to develop her skills under his guidance.
