The keyboardist for the popular Mexican pop band Playa Limbo has played a key role in shaping the group’s unique sound. Known for their jazz-infused melodies and heartfelt lyrics, Playa Limbo gained widespread recognition in 2008 with the release of their debut album, Canciones de hotel. Before they hit the big time, the keyboardist teamed up with bassist Angel Baillo—after both had performed together in a local rock band—to form what would eventually become Playa Limbo. Interestingly, their early project actually started under the name Vodkatronik, showing just how much the band evolved over time.

As the oldest of three siblings, he was raised in a musically rich household. His father, Nicolás Segundo Corrales Marañón from Chile, was a skilled violinist, while his mother, Mary Isabel Díaz Gamarra, hails from Argentina. It was through his father’s influence that the keyboardist first developed a deep passion for music—a spark that ultimately led him to co-found Playa Limbo and help build it into the acclaimed act it is today. The journey hasn’t been overnight, but with talent and dedication, the keyboardist has remained a steady force in the band’s success.
