The NBA shooting guard was picked seventeenth overall by the New York Knicks in the 2011 draft. During the 2014-15 season, he was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, where he played a key role in helping the team secure the 2016 NBA Championship. Then, in 2018, he made another move, this time to the Sacramento Kings.
Before he became a well-known figure in the NBA, he had already made a name for himself during his high school years. He attended Oak Park and River Forest High School, where he was honored as a two-time conference MVP. Growing up, he was close to his two older brothers, Odis and Ahrii, and also shared a bond with his younger brother.
Off the court, his personal life has also been in the spotlight. He got engaged to the talented rapper Teyana Taylor, and together they welcomed their first daughter, Iman Tayla, in 2015. The couple later expanded their family with the birth of their second daughter, Rue Rose, on September 6, 2020. They tied the knot in 2016, but unfortunately, their marriage ended in divorce in September 2023.
He made the NBA All-Rookie team back in 2012, which was a great achievement early in his career.
