She is a singer who gained recognition during her time as part of the iconic group Flans. This group became widely popular in the 1980s with their notable albums such as Luz y Sombra, 20 Millas, and Adios. Following the group’s disbandment in 1990, she decided to pursue a solo career, continuing her journey in the music industry.
Before achieving fame, she attended Universidad Anáhuac and later joined Flans at the age of 20. She was born in Venezuela to Oscar Oliva and Ilse Schweinfurth. Despite her birthplace, she obtained Mexican citizenship when she turned 18. In her personal life, she is a mother to two sons.
She made an appearance on the show Maria Isabel back in 1997 and has since built a career as a TV host across a variety of programs. In addition to her television work, she has also reunited with Flans for concert tours in both 1999 and 2005.
