A well-known figure in New York, this outspoken radio host, TV personality, and writer gained a reputation for tackling taboo topics with bold honesty. He launched his iconic radio program, The Howard Stern Show, back in 1979, and not long after, Robin Quivers joined him, becoming a key part of the show. Before he rose to fame, he worked in the advertising industry, managing radio commercials, before finally landing his own on-air opportunity. On June 4, 1978, he tied the knot with Alison Berns, but after their divorce in 2001, he later married Beth Ostrosky on October 3, 2008. Together, they’ve built a life, and he is proud father to three daughters—Emily, Deborah, and Ashley.
He often refers to himself as the King of All Media, a title he’s embraced for years. Despite having been a close ally of Donald Trump for quite some time, he made the surprising move of backing Hillary Clinton during the 2016 presidential election.
