Dick Cusack was an actor who made numerous appearances on the big screen throughout his Hollywood career. In the earlier stages of his journey, Dick Cusack took on roles in dramas such as My Bodyguard (1980) and Eight Men Out (1988), the latter of which he shared the screen with John Cusack and Jayce Alexander. Additionally, he appeared in several TV movies, including Skokie (CBS, 1981–82) and Vital Signs (CBS, 1985–86).

Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Dick Cusack continued to remain active in the film industry. He starred in The Package (1989), a dramatic film featuring Gene Hackman, as well as in Crazy People (1990). One of his more notable roles came in the blockbuster hit The Fugitive (1993), where he acted alongside Harrison Ford. On the small screen, Dick Cusack was seen in TV movies like Johnny Ryan (NBC, 1989–1990) and Overexposed (ABC, 1992–93).

In the later years of his career, Dick Cusack appeared in a variety of genres. He was part of the cast of While You Were Sleeping (1995), a romantic comedy starring Sandra Bullock, and played a role in the action-packed Chain Reaction (1996) with Keanu Reeves. He also appeared in the comedy High Fidelity (2000), which starred John Cusack in the lead. Further television work included roles in Evil Has a Face (USA, 1995–96) and The Jack Bull (HBO, 1998–99).

His final film role came in Return to Me (2000), a drama directed by David Duchovny. Outside of his professional life, Dick Cusack was married to Nancy Cusack and together they raised five children. Sadly, Dick Cusack passed away in June 2003 at the age of 78, leaving behind a legacy in both film and television.
