A talented DJ and producer, he has risen to become a major figure in the dancehall scene, thanks to chart-topping singles like “Duppy Know Ah Who Fi Frighten” and “Gal Dem Want.” Over the course of his career, he’s had the opportunity to work with some of the biggest names in the genre, such as Elephant Man, Tony Matterhorn, and Sizzla, further solidifying his place in the industry.
Before he became widely known, he started out performing at a Jamaican nightclub called Cactus when he was just 15 years old. That early exposure helped lay the foundation for what would become a successful music career. His real name is Collin Demar Edwards, and offstage, he leads a more personal life with his wife, Terry Edwards, and together they have children.
From his beginnings in dancehall to his collaborations and personal milestones, he continues to be a significant presence in the music world.
In 2017, he joined Akon’s En-Treeg Records label under a signing deal.
