A talented percussionist best known for his role in the country music band Zac Brown Band, he started out as a touring musician with the group before officially becoming a permanent member in April 2012. Before rising to fame, he was born in the bustling city of New York and spent his early years growing up in Puerto Rico and later in Las Vegas. He is widely recognized as one of the pioneering drummers who brought congas and various other percussion instruments into the traditional drum set setup, adding a unique flavor to his performances.
His musical talent runs deep in the family, as his grandfather, Walfredo de los Reyes II, was a co-founder of the famous Cuban orchestra Casino de la Playa. Continuing the legacy, his father, Walfredo de los Reyes III, also became a well-known drummer and percussionist. In addition, he shares his musical roots with his brothers, Walfredo Reyes Jr. and Kamar de los Reyes, both of whom have made their own marks in the music industry.
He started his own entertainment company, DrumJungle, Inc., which really helped shape his career in the music industry. Over time, he continued to innovate and eventually came up with the idea for the Practice Pro Pad—a tool that many drummers now find incredibly useful. Through DrumJungle, Inc., he not only promoted musical talent but also developed practical tools for musicians. His work with DrumJungle, Inc. truly reflects his passion for rhythm and performance. And of course, the invention of the Practice Pro Pad was a game-changer, all thanks to his creativity and drive. DrumJungle, Inc. remains a key part of his legacy.
