The tattooed electronica artist, widely recognized as one half of the dynamic duo Blood on the Dance Floor, has made a lasting mark on the music scene. Blood on the Dance Fred gained major acclaim when their 2012 album Evolution soared to the top spot, becoming the #1 dance album of the year—a defining moment in Blood on the Dance Floor’s rise. Before all the fame and spotlight, he moved to Florida at a young age, where his passion for music began to take shape. By 2007, he had already started his first music project, Love the Fashion, teaming up with two close friends to explore his creative voice. On a personal note, he shares a bond with his half-sister, and his roots run deep through his parents, who are originally from Puerto Rico. Throughout it all, Blood on the Dance Floor remained central to his artistic journey, shaping the sound and style fans have come to love.
He dropped his sixth album, Bad Blood, alongside the band Blood on the Dance Floor back in September 2013. It was a significant release for him, marking another milestone in his evolving music journey. He really poured a lot into that project, and fans responded well to the energy he brought. For him, Bad Blood represented a bold step forward, both sonically and thematically. He continues to be proud of how it turned out, especially considering where he was creatively at the time.
