Known to many as the son of soccer legend Cristiano Ronaldo, he’s affectionately called “Cristianinho” by fans and family alike. Over the years, Cristianinho has grown into his own spotlight, though his father has remained tight-lipped about the identity of Cristianinho’s mother. Still, the bond between father and son is strong, and Cristianinho has clearly inherited a passion for the game. In September 2018, he made a memorable debut with Juventus U9—scoring an impressive four goals that hinted at the talent running in the family.
Before stepping into the public eye, Cristianinho was born in San Diego, California, where he entered the world weighing 9 pounds and 8 ounces—a healthy start for what would become a life in the global spotlight. On his father’s side, Cristianinho’s grandparents are Maria Dolores Aveiro and José Dinis Aveiro, both of whom have played important roles in the family. He also has a close-knit extended family, including an uncle named Hugo and aunts Elma and Liliana, who’ve helped shape his upbringing.
Family means a lot to Cristianinho. He shares a special bond with his siblings: two younger sisters, Eva María Dos Santos and Alana Martina, and a younger brother named Mateo. Tragically, he also had another sister, Bella Esmerelda, who was born in April 2022 but passed away shortly after birth. Despite the challenges, Cristianinho continues to grow surrounded by love and support, carrying the name forward with quiet strength and promise.
His dad was in a relationship with Russian model Irina Shayk from 2010 all the way through to 2015. During that time, he started playing soccer at the Al Nassr Academy in Saudi Arabia, which really helped shape his early development in the sport. It’s interesting how his personal life and athletic journey overlapped during those years. His dedication to the game became more evident as he trained consistently at the academy.
