The Brazilian singer and songwriter, who captured the hearts of many with his music, left behind a remarkable legacy before his untimely passing. Throughout his career, he released several popular singles, including “Efeitos” in 2011, followed by “Você mudou” in 2012, and “Maus bocados” in 2013. In 2014, he continued to gain recognition with hits like “Cê que sabe” and “É com ela que eu estou”. In addition to his chart-topping songs, he also shared his live performances through two concert DVDs and completed the release of three studio albums.
Before he rose to fame, he showed an early passion for music. At just six years old, he began learning how to play the guitar, and by the age of ten, he was already writing his own songs. His dedication and talent became evident early on, and at thirteen, he released his first EP. Around the same time, he made his television debut in Brazil, setting the stage for what would become a promising career.
He was born and raised in Goiás, Brazil—a place that remained close to his heart throughout his life and where he ultimately passed away in a tragic car accident in 2015. He was the son of João Reis and Zenaide Melo and was lovingly supported by his siblings, including his sister Ana Cristina and his brother Felipe Araújo.
It was a devastating car accident that claimed his life along with the life of his 19-year-old girlfriend, Allana. The tragedy occurred when their vehicle was being driven by his bodyguard, who unfortunately lost control of the car. At the time, he and Allana were asleep in the back seat and, tragically, were not wearing their seatbelts.
