John Raleigh is a professional catcher who made his mark in the baseball world when he was drafted by the Seattle Mariners during the third round of the 2018 MLB Draft. Before joining the ranks of professional baseball, John Raleigh played college ball at Florida State University, where he truly stood out—earning a spot as a 1st-Team All-ACC selection in 2018. That achievement definitely helped put John Raleigh on the radar of major league scouts.

Before fame and the bright lights of the big leagues, John Raleigh got his start in the minors, playing for the Seattle Mariners’ single-A affiliate, the Everett AquaSox. It was there that John Raleigh began honing his skills behind the plate and proving he had what it takes to climb the ranks.

Off the field, John Raleigh comes from a close-knit family. His parents, Stephanie and Todd Raleigh, have been strong supporters throughout his journey. John Raleigh also shares a strong bond with his three siblings—Emma Grace, Carley, and Todd Jr.—who’ve all played a part in shaping the person and athlete he’s become today.
