He’s the brother of Brent, Brice, and Lexi Rivera — a proud family from Huntington Beach, California. Rivera began his college hockey journey at Long Beach State University back in 2014, quickly making a name for himself on the ice. As a freshman, he earned Player of the Month honors, showcasing his talent early on. Before stepping into the collegiate spotlight, Rivera had already proven himself in competitive hockey, playing with the Jr. Ducks and even competing for a national championship. His dedication to the sport has been evident throughout his life. In July 2017, Rivera started a relationship with his girlfriend Jess Salem, adding another meaningful chapter to his personal story. Family plays a big role in his life — his mother, Laura Rivera, has been a constant source of support. Whether it’s on the rink or off, Rivera continues to represent his roots with pride.
