A well-known journalist, he gained recognition for anchoring the Fox News program America’s Newsroom. Prior to that, he spent a decade at CNN, working as a reporter from 1995 to 2005. Over the course of his career, he has reported from a variety of locations, including Haiti, Vatican City, and Camp Fallujah, in addition to numerous places across the United States.
Before he became a familiar face on television, he attended Miami University in Ohio, where he began his journey in television production. He was born to William Hemmer and Georganne Knittle and grew up as the third of five siblings. His early experiences helped shape the foundation for his future in broadcast journalism.
He’s made a real impact when it comes to giving back, especially through education. He helped establish not just one but two scholarships—one for his alma mater and another for his high school—showing how much he values supporting students on their academic journeys. And it’s no surprise that his efforts haven’t gone unnoticed. In 2013, he was honored with a professional distinction award from his high school, a testament to the legacy he’s built. He continues to inspire those around him, proving that success isn’t just about personal achievement but also about lifting others up along the way.
