A Spanish television actor gained recognition for his compelling performance as the antagonist Iván Montenegro in the popular Telemundo telenovela La Impostora. Over the course of his career, he has taken on a variety of recurring roles in well-known series, such as Diego Melendez in Vuelve Temprano, Olmo Ferrer in Las Malcriadas, and Iñaki Arnella in La Madrastra. In addition to his television work, he has also appeared in several feature films, including Sobre tus Huellas, Plan V, El Vestido de la Novia, and ReEvolución 10⁄20 Honor sin Tiempo.
Before stepping into the spotlight, he completed his mandatory military service in Spain. During that time, he developed a strong interest in fitness, which eventually led him to become a physical trainer. Later on, he participated in male beauty pageants, further expanding his public presence. His journey into acting began with appearances in commercials for major brands like Burger King, Sony, Roomba, and Toyota. Encouraged by these early experiences, he decided to pursue acting more seriously and moved to Madrid. There, he enrolled at the Centro de Artes y Técnicas Audiovisuales to hone his craft.
On a personal note, he comes from a close-knit family, being the son of José and Josefa Pavón. He also shares a strong bond with his older brother, Baltasar, who has been a part of his life’s journey.
Back in 2015, he made a significant move behind the camera, earning his first behind-the-scenes credit by directing the short historical drama Mexico’s Eyes—a project in which he not only directed but also co-starred. The film brought to life characters inspired by iconic figures from Mexican history, such as the legendary actress María Félix, the renowned muralist José Clemente Orozco, and the beloved actor Pedro Infante. It was a pivotal moment in his career, showcasing his creative vision and deep appreciation for cultural heritage. Then, in 2017, he continued building his portfolio by producing another short film titled Tezcatlipoca, further establishing himself as a multifaceted talent in the industry. He definitely proved that his passion goes beyond acting—he’s truly invested in storytelling from every angle.
